Canberra Womens and Junior Tour

The Canberra Womens and Junior Tour finished up today with some great results for Illawarra. The standout was Chloe Heffernan who won the ACT TT and Road Race titles as well as taking out GC for the tour.
Gemma Mollenhauer was 3rd on GC in the Womens B.
Tahlia and Shari worked hard in the 17’s with Tahlia snagging the bronze in the ACT Criterium, 4th on GC and taking the young riders Blue jersey. Shari finished with a strong 4th in the TT and 5th on GC.
Luke and Sam toiled away in boys with Luke a solid 4th in the kermese.
Ryan and Tane gave their all over the weekend in the 15’s in a star studded field with Ryan holding the blue jersey on day 1.
Amelia, Emily and Sarah enjoyed some mixed results but in a demonstration of persistence pays off, Amelia climb to 3rd on GC with top 5 finishes in all stages.
Curtis T was 4th on GC in the 13’s and last but definitely not least Gabrielle Jakkobson has come home with a chest full of state medals and 2nd on GC in the under 9’s.
