Congratulations to Joel on winning the NSW Elite Points Race!

Aiden and Mitch have signed on for a new team ‘Australian Cycling Academy’ (https://www.aca-cycling.cc/ )  for 2018.

To the 80 family and friends of ICC who attended the club presentation I thank you on behalf of Terry Wall and myself (Rod Child) in helping make a great night.

With near perfect weather on Saturday our track open carnival only needed our riders to perform well to make it a great day for the club and from young to old they did not disappoint, with many great results through the day.

A wonderful morning greeted riders for our Women’s come and try race and our usual club scratch race.

I asked Deb when She got back from Worlds if She could give us (ICC) some detail into what it is like to race at the Worlds and what Deb has given me is an amazing incite to what She has experienced,  Thanks again Deb on sharing this with us Rod Child My LA experience – 2017 UCI Masters World Track Cycling Championships   Thu 05 Oct My LA track experience began with my first training session at the Velo Sports Centre.  My first view of the velodrome was from spectator level.  It was three days before the start of competition and already the velodrome was buzzing with energy.

The famous Wagga golden wheel carnival coupled with country championships lived up to its reputation as one of the best track carnivals on the calendar and Illawarra riders didn’t come away empty handed.

Thanks to Sutherland Shire Cycling club for hosting our Criterium Club Championships.

Our 1st night of racing for the 2017 – 2018 season got off to a great evening of racing.
