Hunter Junior Tour report

Day 1

Kids going great guns in their last big hit out before states at the Hunter Tour.
Grace having fun in the participation group. 
Gabriel winning both the tt and the crit in the U11 boys.
Sarah winning the tt and crit, and the prime in the U15women with Bronte 3rd in the tt amd crit and 3rd on gc. Emily just off the podium.
The boys Ryan, Tane and Curtis just off the podium but ready to strike tomorrow, Ryan picking up the prime.
Jacinta 2nd in the tt Tahlia 3rd, 1 second between them over 12k. Flipped it for crit with Tahlia 2nd and Jacinta 3rd. The girls 2nd and 3rd on gc.

Day 2 of the Hunter Tour and there was plenty on the line for older kids with state selection points up for grabs and the kids did a great job.
In the participation group Grace got to stand on top of the podium getting used to what might happen in the future. Brother Gabriel was 2nd in his Road Race and took 1st on GC as well as the young riders jersey.
In the U15 women Sarah won the RR and was 1st on gc, a clean sweep of selection races.
Bronte was 3rd and 3rd on gc and Emily 5th both picking up some points.
In the U15 men Ryan won the RR and 2nd on GC, Ryan also doing a clean sweep of selction races. Tane and Curtis just out of points but finishing in the main bunch.
In the U17 women Tahlia was 2nd in RR and 2nd on GC and Jacinta 4th in the RR and 3rd on GC which is her best GC position to date. Both girls picking up points in their very last junior Tour.
2 weeks and its State champs in the Illawarra.
