Dear ICC members,
An interesting meeting with much discussion was held as you'll see by
the minutes.
A pat on the back to Phil and Garry for working to put the current
sponsorship deal together and of course to the sponsors Soto et al for
coming to the table. Much work went into securing the vital funding for
the club and looks to keep us all in good stead for the next few years.
Thanks as well to Neil Arnold who put together the recent survey. On all
accounts it was done very well and will be a source of much discussion
in the coming months.

The previous minutes were read and accepted without correction.
*_Correspondence Received_*
* Application to Race on Public Roads 2012
* Bill - Sponsor Kit Fee Overdue to CNSW -- Patricia to pay (held up
by sponsorship agreement)
*_Matters Arising_*
* The Dinnerville entry date has been set 29^th February -- for Race
Date 27^th May
o Will entries be saved for ICC riders -- NO
* The Wollongong Grand Prix Circuit was a success can we use the
course before they use it?
*_Treasurer's Report_*

Income for December $7,100.85
Expenditure for December $5,746.92
Balance ending December 31^st $40,611.56

* Storage and Facilities at Velodrome: What to do with the Club house
-- extend, reinforce, add a shipping container. Garry has a
container. Contact council for permission -- Start the process.
* Club Grants -- Niel to educate others on his research in to club
grants.
* Country Track Open: to go ahead if Wal wants it -- Look into
sponsorship.
* Traffic controllers course: Who is opening the School /organising
lunch.
o TC course to run next time with different company
o Look at alternative times to get more people to come -- eg split
for
* Sponsorship Deal -- Soto, KJ scaffolding, K&R Fabrications, D&D
Services, Rain and Horne,Groman and Plumbing: Details - $14,500
package per annum for three years. Exclusive agreement -- no
sponsored groups unless approved by the club sponsor -Soto.
* Survey Summary (Neil is making available a detailed summary) :
Course is an issue, most want to go over the hill or turn at hall as an
option. Huntley/Avondale rd rates last.
- Graded scratch races clear favourite. Hilltop finish well regarded
also. Handicaps ok. Time trials least preferred by a long shot.
- Most people happy to marshal/TC
- Distances seem ok, although case to make scratch races slightly longer.
- Condition of road a major issue. Potholes etc are a turn off.
- Time of races is good. Summer early, Winter late, although a
significant number want 9am winter races.
- Lots of free text comments from about half of the 97 respondents.
* Race committee -- Schedule talked about Dates of races.
