Kembla Grange Go Kart track mini-series
Event Details
The Committee of Illawarra Cycle Club are excited to offer some local racing in the Illawarra. There will be a three race crit series at Kembla Grange Go Kart track. The dates are as follows:
- Sat 22nd June
- Sat 29th June
- Sat 6th July
With respect to start times and durations we are running the following:
- A grade: 7:30am for 45mins plus two laps
- B grade: 8:30am for 40mins plus two laps
- C grade: 9:15am for 30mins plus two laps
- D grade: 9:15am for 20mins plus two laps
No pre-entries required, just turn up and enter on the day.
On-site canteen is open from 7am for your pre or post race caffeine hit.
Gates open at 7am. Entries close 15mins before the start of each race. No pre-entries required, just show up and join in.
Note that we have added a D grade event to schedule.
No prize money will be paid each week. Instead points will accumulate towards an overall winner in each grade. Scoring is simple: 5 points for 1st, 4 points for 2nd, 3 points for 3rd, 2 points for 4th, 1 point for 5th.
Remember that this is about gauging interest in this type of racing and to test out the circuit. Please turn up to give it a try and share your feedback.
