[Members] FW: Secretary resigns

Dear All

Further to Phil’s email below and also to a number of enquiries about why I resigned as club secretary…..I have recently taken on the role of communications manager with Cycling NSW (as a second job)  and with only so much time on my hands, a family and a love of cycling myself occasionally, had to make a choice, unfortunately. Resigning as secretary was very regretful, but I will be continuing as media/publicity officer for the Club and also with my junior skills and coaching on Wednesdays and helping out around the place.

 

Thanks for the support various members have given me in my role as secretary  during the past year. Thanks to the committee. We have achieved a lot. Great club. Proud to be a part of it.

 

Re publicity – I am happy to post results and stories on member achievements on our three Facebook pages, our website and send to the media, but I don’t know about it unless people tell me. I try to keep across most events, but sometimes I miss them. Please let me know if you have travelled away and send me some basic dot points on what happened – as soon as possible after the event.
