All,

The offer for the inclusion of an Illawarra team into the Nowra Velo Club 
team racing for 2012 has been withdrawn.

I have spoken to the series organiser Doug Holland and he sent an official 
email request to our 2011 club secretary, Wally Ervan, and CC'd Garry 
Doughty but did not receive a timely reply. The 2012 series has been 
organised, and as each team marshals one race each another team cannot be 
added at this stage.

Doug mentioned that the Nowra Velo Club welcomes ad-hoc visits from 
Illawarra riders and in most cases can accommodate them in most of their 
scheduled races (including teams races). As a courtesy please email or 
phone ahead of time to ensure it is OK. 

Doug also welcomes the inclusion of an Illawarra team (or teams) into the 
2013 series and beyond and would welcome discussions on this point.

I'm interested, and I'm sure there will be a lot of interest from other 
Illawarra riders for this series, but could you please give us some 
details as to how it works?

From what I can see from your website the teams are made up of 12 riders 
of varying ability.

When are the races?
What are the required composition of the team (Eg number of A-graders, 
B-graders etc) ?
What is the race format (are the races split into grades or do all 12 team 
members race the same race)?
What are the entry fees?
