Message from Peter McMullan of Kiama Tri Club. 

Some Illawarra cycle club members met up north and rode down to Jason's
site, if the same wants to be done again.

Hi all,
 Sunday the 17th of October is the first anniversary of Jason Stortz tragic
death. While nothing formal has been mentioned to me, I would like to invite
any and all of you to a brief ride to his memorial cross. I thought it could
follow the route of the ride last year. If you remember, we met at the servo
on Tongarra road around 8.15 and then rode in silence for 20 minutes before
offering our respects at the cross that was erected. If anyone else out
there is planning something similar could you pass it on and perhaps we
could all ride together in a show of solidarity. 

Just out of interest, the trial of the person responsible begins on Monday
the following day.
